Butte de Morts Lions Club
Benefit for Kyle Makurat

Saturday, March 20th, 2010 from 1:00 p.m. to 11:30 p.m.

La Sure's Banquet Hall in Oshkosh

On September 11, 2009 at age 13, Kyle suffered a heart attack while running on the outdoor track in gym class at school. It was later learned that he had an undiagnosed congenital heart defect.

Kyle spent three months at Children's Hospital of Wisconsin in Milwaukee and was finally able to come home on December 10, 2009. Family, friends and neighbors made the necessary modifications to his home, as Kyle requires ongoing speech, occupational and physical therapy.

Please help to celebrate Kyle's recovery. The funds raised will not only help pay for the medical expenses that Kyle's treatment incurs, but also to help his family as they continue to tend to Kyle's ongoing medical needs and rehabilitation.

March of Dimes - March for Babies

Saturday, April 17th, 2010 at 9:00 am

Aurora Medical Center in Oshkosh

When you walk in March for Babies, you give hope to the more than half a million babies born too soon each year.

The money you raise supports programs in your community that help moms have healthy, full-term pregnancies. And it funds research to find answers to the problems that threaten babies.

They've been walking since 1970 and have raised an incredible $1.8 billion to benefit all babies.
